Garage Sale

Posted on 5 Jul 2018 in General | 0 comments

Yes, your very own Community Makerspace is hosting it’s first Garage Sale, starting at 8:00 am on Saturday 14 July, at 133 McMillan Street Parksville, entry at the back door. Ground level, ramp access and no stairs.

We’ve only been open 1 yr, just had our Anniversary event, so how could we have anything to sell – we have a lot of things that have been generously donated, that are surplus to our requirements.

You now have a place to buy a Re-Conditioned Windows 7 Tower computer, with monitor, mouse and keyboard, ready to go (will need network access and a network cable at your home, for internet access). We have a variety of options, so first come gets to pick, but they have all been upgraded and tested by one of our IT Professional MakerSpace members (still sold as seen though, at around $100 or less).

All kinds of other things, but plenty of interest in the computer, electronics, workshop and garden tools. Interested in a functional organ to play with? How about a pool table? Can anyone make use of an old broken small fridge or a water cooler?

If you have good quality, working things, that you no longer need, we would be happy to receive your kind donations – but only on Saturday 7th July, from 1-4 pm or Wednesday 11th July 6-9 pm. No drop-offs, thanks.
